Whether your student is learning the basics of elementary math or preparing for the challenges of pre-calculus, Tom Brown provides personalized one-on-one tutoring designed to build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and develop a lasting understanding of mathematical concepts. Every session is tailored to the student's individual needs, learning style, and current coursework to provide focused support where it matters most. Tutoring is available in Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Integrated Math I, II & III, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus. Students can receive help understanding new concepts, completing homework, preparing for quizzes and exams, reviewing previous tests, and building the skills needed to succeed in the classroom. Rather than simply providing answers, Tom focuses on helping students understand the "why" behind the math. By breaking down challenging concepts into clear, manageable steps, students develop stronger critical thinking skills, greater independence, and the confidence to solve problems on their own. Sessions are available in person in Steamboat Springs or virtually from anywhere, providing the flexibility to choose the learning environment that works best for your schedule.
